Axum is to Ethiopian Christians as Jerusalem is to world Christians. Axum is also one of three top world tourist destinations in Ethiopia for its obelisks, ruins of the palace of Queen Sheeba, tombs of iconic historical kings, and for being the origin of Christianity in Africa. I grew up in Axum. How can the photo be confused with anything in Eritrea?.
